The sixties! Those were the days! (Not that I was there or anything...)

When going out to the movies (yeah, Hairspray, that's right, I said it) I found that I was actually more excited to wait for something in the previews than to view what I was actually seeing. The trailer for the new Beatles movie, 'Across The Universe', was....breathtaking. I just couldn't look away:



With the same sort of flair as HAIR, the artsy rock and roll revolution directed by Julie Taymor (starring Jim Sturges as well as Marilyn Manson's latest squeeze, Evan Rachel Wood) comes to theatres this September.

Across the Universe: Rufus Wainwright (A swift layering, full melody that Rufus carries with opera-rock vocals. My favorite Beatles cover yet: Nothing's gonna change my world.)
