The Scientist

School is coming to an end and I can't help but wonder who my classmates really are. I glance around in the hall and realize, that maybe as humans, we're all a bit selfish to not try to get to know each other. You know that one person, who may be in one of your classes, that you know OF but would like to GET to know better? I feel like that opportunity is passing and we only have one year until we're all jumbled up into an even bigger melting pot. It's all so confusing and I'm not sure if I want to hang on or cast off. The year has gone by quicker than any other and things are going to be much much different.

Sorry I haven't been posting, it's just that:
1. I've been away and
2. I've had better things to do.

I've been without Ipod for THREE WHOLE DAYS and I'm cramming music into my system like I'm having a math emergency study session. Except that instead of integers and pythagorean theorum, I'm studying the Infadels and Paul McCartney and the Wings, and the Distillers and Franz Ferdinand as opposed to of the displacement theory and the FOIL method. Which reminds me about the math final on Wednesday....

So many tests, projects, quizzes, finals....It's as if teachers have completely forgotten about work this year and just remembered that we need to have about 50 things done this year. Oh well. I suppose it's worth it because this time, two Wednesdays in the future, I will be sleeping. Note that it is 3:59 PM.

I haven't had time to breathe this whole week so I think I'm gonna go hang out w/ the piano and try to get some chords down.

More later ( I hope),

Kit

P.S. A great reviewer once said that "Franz Ferdinand's music is tighter than their pants." I have to agree, but I couldn't find a picture of them in leggings. My apologies, although you may not have wanted to see that much.
