Manic Monday

The day is basically over which also means I'm basically one day closer to my ultamite demise, but I don't mind. Kinda random huh? Sorry, I don't mean to put a damper on things but maybe I can lift your spirits with a game I play. It's make-a-soundtrack-for-your-day out of songs with titles or music that fit your day.
Okay so here's how the soundtrack to my day goes:
ME WAKING UP IN A SUNLIT ROOM WITH THE CURTAINS FLOATING THE BREEZE: Summer Breeze (cover) by Jason Mraz
OUT FOR A WALK, TAKING PHOTOS OUTSIDE: I Turn My Camera On by Spoon
DURING BREAKFAST, IN THE BACKROUND, PLAYING IS: Mixed Tape by Jack's Mannequin
OFF TO TENNIS, WHERE THEY PLAY TOP FORTY STATIONS OVER THE SPEAKERS AND NEVER MIX IT UP (UGH), I HAVE THIS ON REPEAT IN MY HEAD: You Can't Always Get What You Want by the Rolling Stones
AT LUNCH, WHEN THE GIRL NEXT TO ME IS SCREAMING IN MY EAR: Talk by Coldplay
ROWING A FIERCE STROKE SEAT IN CREW: Wild Thing by the Troggs
JUMPING OUT OF THE BOAT IN CREW: Do What You Want by Ok Go
DRIVING HOME: Just A Ride by Jem
ON THE COMPUTER: Soundtrack for Our Movie by Mae (hey, its what i'm doing right now)
TALKING TO FRIENDS: Nice Talking to Me by the Spin Doctors
FAMILY MEAL and DESSERT: Dinner at Eight in the Suburbs by All-Time Quarterback! (with a touch of Chocolate by Snow Patrol)
READING: Gimme Fiction by Spoon
DANCING IN FRONT OF THE MIRROR WITH A HAIRBRUSH (shut up, you do it too): Dancing With Myself by Billy Idol
SITTING ON THE ROOF... : Somewhere Only We Know by Keane
...and WONDERING ABOUT THINGS, IN THE DARK (this was so so tough. it was between this one and imagine by j. lennon. i felt bad for youthgroup being compared to lennon so i went with yg): Shadowland by Youthgroup
THE PERFECT SONG TO END MY DAY/MOVIE: Ooh La La by Faces (I love how Wes Anderson always ends his movies with great songs so I kind of stole this one from him. Shhhh....)
Okay, so that's kind of the simplified version of my day (without most of the complications and major ups and downs but therein hangs a tale.)
I've got to run but I'll catch all you cats later,
kit
p.s. THIS, my friends, is Wes Anderson, director extrordinare. You may recognize him as the crazy director in the MasterCard commercial with Jason Schwartzman. "FRANCOIS!"

p.p.s. don't be afraid to leave a comment! as the subways said, "i want to hear what you've got to say"!

Ah, that's really cool. I've done that too! I love doing something and thinking what the soundtrack is. When me and my friend made a teen pregnancy movie for our health class, I OBSSESSED over the soundtrack.
