I'm Shakin'

Sorry for the lack of post-age. Things have been kind of crazy in my world and I promise more later but first:
1. I've been insanely busy with crew and tennis. Everyday when I get home it is practically inpossible for me to sit down and stand up quickly due to my muscles tightening. Ow.
2. I'm trying to get a ticket to the Vans Warped Tour. As you know my beloved, The Academy Is..., will be preforming and if I can't go I will die. Try to comprehend how much I want to go. You can't. Try again. You still can't imagine.
3. "Is It Any Wonder?" that I love Keane? You might have guessed that's the name of Keane's newest single and as I just mentioned, Keane's has a second (can you believe it's only their second album?) album out and, ladies and gentlemen, I am pleased to announce that there is no sophmore slump here! The record is called, "Under the Iron Sea" and features fabulous (and slightly overlooked) songs like "Let It Slide" and "Frog Prince". Think, of a teeny bit of Death Cab for Cutie and a lot Train if they were from the UK but a bit more reminiscent of Oasis (one of their influences) and U2 (you can check out the cover of "With or Without You" they did. Nicely done). It's a nice sound and you may remember Keane from their mega-hit "Somewhere Only We Know" from the 2004 album "Hopes and Fears". What I like most about their hit single, "Is It Any Wonder?" is that it's a very sad song with hardly any resolution at all wrapped in a pop/rock song, which you rarely see. Most often compared to Coldplay, the trio that forms Keane is comprised of Tom Chaplin (vocals), Tim Rice-Oxley (piano), and Richard Hughs (drums) and if you haven't seen them yet, check them out. They're worth it. A FUN FACT: There are no guitars in the band which make them even more unique.
I've already spent more time than I wanted to so I'm outta here.
-Kit
P.S. The "Is It Any Wonder?" music video is arguable. I appreciate director Kevin Godley's idea of putting the video camera on a roller coaster as the band plays but seriously. After thirty seconds my head is spinning!
P.P.S. Have you seen the trailer for the new Will Ferrell movie, the race car one? The bit where he's running out of the car in his underwear is too funny, especially when doubled with all of the babbling he does about "Tom Cruise and his witches". It looks like one of those awful movies with just one laugh out loud part, but you know, that's just me...
